Planned Novarad Upgrade

We will be experiencing a temporary downtime for a Novarad system upgrade on:

Tuesday, January 17th at 7pm

Please plan to send images to our backup destination that evening from 7-8pm.

In preparation, we ask that you please test sending images to the PRS backup destination (172.20.23.15, also called Gateway 2) to ensure that you would still be able to route images to us during that time. If you do experience any issues with getting images to us via the backup destination, Josh and Leslie, our IT team, can be reached through the PRS office at 308-865-2231.

If you cannot access our Plains Radiology RIS system during the upgrade, please fax us a requisition with your requested read. Also, be aware that NovaScan software may be temporarily affected and you may have to fax us technologist worksheets and prior reports for a short time during the upgrade. We would encourage your staff -- as is always the case for afterhours STATs -- to call our office in order to verify we have received all patient information and images. Please call after you have sent the images and information.
