Radiologist Requests for Comparisons

Our Radiologists have asked us to share a reminder of the importance of having comparison exams available at the time an exam is submitted to be read. This helps us to provide the complete Inside Story in the most efficient and timely manner.

Please send the comparison exam(s) and note related details in the RIS Order Notes section, including image count of the current study, date of comparison(s) and image counts for those. If no comparison is available, a note stating such is much appreciated!

Again, having this information available at the time an exam is sent to us will help us to deliver the most complete Inside Story on the patient in the most efficient and timely manner. It will help us to confirm that we have full image sets and comparisons before a study goes to the Radiologist, thus eliminating the need for some corrections and/or addendums after the fact. Thank you, in advance, for your help!
