The 87th Annual Conference of the NSRT will be held in Grand Island, NE at the Ramada Midtown Conference Center on April 19th-21st. Featured this year is Simulation in Motion-Nebraska (SIM-NE), a statewide mobile education system which brings state-of-the-art, hands-on training to pre-hospital and hospital professionals throughout the state. These simulators are some of the most technologically advanced training tools available to the medical community today. High fidelity patient simulators that can talk, breathe and bleed are implemented into the training. The simulated patient’s condition changes according to the treatment that it receives. The NSRT is proud to have the opportunity to bring SIM-NE to our Annual Conference. EMT/Paramedic, Doug Dekker, will be giving a hands-on simulation presentation on emergencies in the Radiology Department and the role of the Radiologic Technologist. There will be 6 sessions held on Friday, April 20th running concurrently with General Session presentations. These SIM-NE sessions will be worth 1 hour of continuing education. These sessions are limited, so be sure to send in your registration early to ensure you are able to attend one of the sessions.

Pre-registration is encouraged. The pre-registration deadline is April 11th; late fees will be added to registrations after this date. http://www.nsrt.net/
