Helmsley Grants Available in Nebraska

The Helmsley Charitable Trust's Rural Healthcare Program has launched a Radiology Equipment Initiative funding opportunity for qualifying Critical Access Hospitals and not-for-profit clinics in Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. This initiative follows a similar RFP launched in the summer of 2015 and again in 2017 to help hospitals replace aging CT scanners.

Qualifying facilities may apply for funding to purchase new radiology equipment through a twelve-month grant. Qualifying equipment includes:

• Fixed digital X-ray
• Portable digital X-ray
• Mobile digital C-arm
• Fixed digital fluoroscopy

Timeline:

8/1 - Request for Proposal (RFP) available
10/1 - RFP due by 5pm ET
12/1 - Selected applicants invited to submit full proposals
1/2/2019 - Full proposals due by 5pm ET
2/2019 - Grantees selected & notified
4/1/2019 - Estimated project start date
